Copper River are known as the best salmon in the world because of their buttery texture that melts in your mouth due to their high fat content. They spend their time at sea preparing for the long journey to their spawning grounds. Once they reach the Copper River Delta, they face a 300 mile trip of glacier-fed water twisting throught the mountain at 1,200 feet altitude. Their high fat and oil content is why they are recognized as the world's best eating salmon and are often referred to as the wagyu of seafood. See for yourself what all the talk is about! About our Family
We have been commercial fishing in Alaska since 1987 and are so proud to bring the highest-quality salmon to people everywhere. It has been our goal for many years to bring our product directly to our customers to ensure quality that you are not going to find in your supermarket selection. We appreciate everyone who is going out of their way to find something extraordinary.
About our Process
We carefully pick each fish from the net, gill and gut, pressure bleed, butcher, package, weigh, label and blast freeze as soon as they come aboard. The other fish on the market do not compare! We are offering the best of the best salmon in the world. Pressure bleeding is a special process where a water jet using seawater is used to remove all of the blood from the fish.
